  • IF WE HAVE NOT THE INPUTS OF
  • THE TWO COVENANTS EARLIER!!!??
  • HOW CAN WE enjoy OUR COFFEE TO DRINK
  • IF IT IS NOT STIRRED FIRST


AND WORST

  • IF THERE IS NOT ENOUGH of THE CREAM, SUGAR, AND WATER of THE DESIRED TEMPERATURE
  • TO BE STIRRED!!!??

  • the words spoken beforehand
  • by the holy prophets
  • AND the commandment of THE LORD and SAVIOR
  • spoken by your apostles.


* THESE TWO (2) “SPOKEN”

  • IN WHAT HAS BECOME THE BIBLE
  • comprised of THE Old & THE New COVENANTS NOW!


WHAT AN ADVANTAGE

  • WE CAN JUST GO BACK AND FORTH TO THEM NOW(!)
  • BECAUSE THEY HAVE ALREADY BEEN WRITTEN DOWN FOR US.

>>verse 3  = Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts,

  • We are in fact on the last hour already, as of John’s last days (sometime A.D. 96) [>>1st John 2:18].
  • This last hour started with John's passing as the last apostle ELDERING THE CHURCH then ... and in came THE CORRUPTIONS FROM WITHIN BY 
  • as RECORDED IN HIS VERY WORDS, DISMAY, varying COUNTENANCES in

WE ARE NOW(!) ON THE
FINAL HOURS

>>verse 5  = For when they maintain this, it escapes their notice that by (the power of) THE WORD of GOD, the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of the water and established boundaries by water.


* >>GENESIS 1:9-10 IS VERY CLEAR:


  • IT WAS DIVINE INTERVENTION
  • ON WHAT WAS EXISTENTIALLY OBTAINING THEN
  • in ETERNITY past
  • THAT BROUGHT ABOUT THE EARTH.


>>verse 6  = through which the world at that time (of Noah) was destroyed, gotten flooded with water.


* REMEMBER THE DELUGE

DURING THE TIME

OF NOAH!

IT WAS ANOTHER

DIVINE

INTERVENTION

OF WORLD-WIDE-

SCALE EFFECT.


>>verse 7  = But the heavens and the earth now existing by HIS WORD are reserved for fire ---- kept for the day of judgment and the destruction of ungodly men.


*THE PRESENT HEAVENS AND EARTH ARE TRULY BEING RESERVED FOR FIRE!

  • FIRE(!) SURELY WILL BE THE world-wide DIVINE INTERVENTION!!!!
  • THAT FIRE IS FOR THAT DAY OF JUDGMENT AND DESTRUCTION OF UNGODLY MEN
  • (>>2nd Thessalonians 1:7a-9)!!!
SO THEN, IT SHOULD NOT MATTER FOR US
  • .... FOR AS LONG AS WE HAVE BEEN AMNESTIED & thereafter HAVE NOT REMAINED UNGODLY
  • instead, getting OURSELVES increasingly spiritual!

  • WE SHOULD HAVE NO DREADFUL NOR QUESTIONING CONCERNS FOR OURSELVES!
>>verse 8  = But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with THE LORD ------- one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years is as one day.

*THE LORD IS NOT SUBJECT TO TIME

  • HE CREATED TIME
  • AND SO CAN DO WHATEVER
  • HE WISHES WITH TIME
  • even stop TIME!

>>verse 9  = THE LORD is not slow about HIS promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any (wicked) to perish but for all to come to repentance.

HE CREATED IT; HE CAN BE

WHIMSICAL WITH IT

--- ACCORDING TO HIS SOVEREIGN PURPOSE.

THIS IS HOW IT WILL  BE!!!!


>>verse 10 = But the day of THE LORD will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up.

  • the heavens will be destroyed by burning
  • and the elements will melt with intense heat!


This world
is not anymore

 destined
to develop and change
to any better.

  • We can only expect
  • ..... further sufferings.

  • And so, we ought as we are COMMANDED here
  • .... to hasten the coming of that day
  • THAT ALL THE CALLED-OUTS of THIS WORLD
  • and THE CHOSEN OVERCOMERS (>>> T#027) among US
  • CAN GET INTO IT - 
  • BEFORE the end of TIME shall finally come!

>>verse 13 = But according to HIS promise we are to look forward to new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.

  • already LOOK UP TO LIVING
  • IN THAT NEW HEAVENS AND NEW EARTH

14 = Therefore, beloved, since you are looking for these things, be diligent to be found by HIM in peace, spotless and blameless,

15 = and regard the patience of THE LORD to be salvation; just as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given him, wrote to you,

16 = as also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand,

  • which the untaught and unstable distort,
  • as they do also with the rest of THE SCRIPTURES,
  • to their own destruction.

17 = You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard lest ...... being carried away by the error of unprincipled men, you fall from your own steadfastness,

OTHERWISE, OUR
BELIEVING IN

 THE LORDSHIP & 
THE CHRISTHOOD of

 JESUS
are IN VAIN!


  FOR EMPHASIS,

 THE NEW COVENANT

 IS ULTRA CLEAR:

THERE IS A BELIEVING

 AMONG CLAIMANT
BELIEVERS

 IN THE LORDSHIP &
THE CHRISTHOOD of 
JESUS

 THAT WILL BE IN VAIN!


18 = but GROW IN THE KNOWLEDGE of OUR LORD JESUS THE CHRIST.
