T#081 DISTINGUISHING SINNER, SINNINGS and SIN for our GUIDANCE in our LIVING!

SINNER – A PERSON
who commits sin

because of that
tendency to sinning
in him or her

SINNINGS –
actual acts of
transgressions
and/or failures
to do those which
GOD

requires us to do

SIN - that which is in us
that leads to sinning
or transgressing GOD

MAKASASALA – Ang tawong
naka-sala tungod kay anaa
kaniya ang tig-duhig
niya ngadto sa pag-PAKASALA

Mga Pag-PAKASALA -
MGA BUHAT
PAG-PANUPAK
SA GUSTO SA DIYOS

SALA - TIG-DUHIG
NATONG TAWO
NGADTO SA
Pag-PAKASALA

>>Romans Chapters
1-8 >

  • teaches SINNERS of what the total implication is of sins
  • and what GOD wants us to do as SINNERS
  • after we have availed of HIS decreed ....
  • .... amnesty for the sinnings ....
  •  we committed during those time
  • prior to our belief in the redemption work
  • of our LORD JESUS THE CHRIST.

>>Romans 1 to 5:11 >

  • SINNINGS o pag-PAKASALA kun pag-PANUPAK sa kabubut-on sa DIOS

>>Romans 5:12
to 8:39 >

  • SIN o tig-duhig natong mga makasasala ngadto sa pag-PAKA-SALA

SINNINGS

SIN

Outside of us

Inside us

>>Romans 8:13 (deeds of the body)

>>Romans 7:8, >>16-17

CONSEQUENCES from our having given way to that tendency in us to sinning by our actions and inactions

Origin or source of the SINS we commit one after another in this life

Acts or inaction in the conduct of our bodies (in our bodies), from case to case

Principle or power inside us, in our conscience (in our spirit); it is in the sinners’ soul that the battle is waged whether to do or not to do that principle or power made known to us in our spirit

Before God and man
Inside man

In man’s ways

In man’s nature

Figuratively, like fruits borne from the branches of a tree

Figuratively, like that tree that bears those fruits
Requires us to be forgiven of
Requires us to be freed from

ACTUAL SINNING one after another ~
Pareho ba sa sigue na lang gyud og pangutang nga walay pagpakabana bisan kahibalo siyang wala siyay ikabayad

OVERCOMING INCLINATION NOT TO GIVE WAY TO SINNING one after another ~
Pareho ba sa na-kombinse nang dili na magpabaya nga mangutang pa tungod kay naka-realize nang dili gyud siya ma-kabayad

TWO (2) VERY BASIC NEEDS of SINNERS:

1st, ~ TO-BE summarily FORGIVEN OF ALL our SINNINGS>>Matthew 26:28, >>Acts 2:38, >>Acts 10:43

2nd, ~ TO-BEING FREED from THE POWER of SIN IN US --- every time we sin after our AMNESTY >>Romans 6:18, >>22, >>1st John 1:8-9

RECKON SINNERS with ~

                  >>Romans 3:23, all are sinners

            >>1st John 1:8-9, after our AMNESTY, we are to confess each time we sin ;

            >>1st Timothy 1:15, JESUS came to save sinners

            >>2nd Corinthians 5:14, JESUS really died in behalf of all of us, because we are all sinners

BUT, >>Matthew 26:28 declares:

*JESUS did not shed HIS blood for all sinners

*but only for the many sinners whose sinnings

*HE has AMNESTIED

*by virtue of the substitutionary nature
of HIS death on the cross

*for HIS LORDSHIP & CHRISTHOOD’s believers’ sinnings ONLY

>> Acts 2:36

and not for every one’s sinnings

as many sincerely mistaken preachers

insistently keep on preaching
repeating / insisting their own DOCTRINE OF INSTANT SALVATION
which hopefully while there's still time
they will abandon with courage starting NOW(!)
because IT is contrary to WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS!)

>>Isaiah 53:5, in truth and in fact states

“But HE was wounded for our transgressions;
HE was bruised for our iniquities….”

and not your that
would have included
indiscriminately every hearer
and reader of that particular verse!

>>Acts 2:36-38,

  • the many are they whose sinnings during their period of time of their unbelief are forgiven

by their
having started to believe na(!)
[nagtuo NA!]

  • in JESUS as their LORD and their CHRIST
  • (>>verse 37 ~ >>John 3:15-16, >>36; >>5:24; >>6:40, >>47; >>11:25)....
repenting na
[nagbinag-o NA!]

  • (>>v.38>>Luke 24:47, >>Luke 17:3, >>Acts 17:30, >>2nd Peter 3:9, >>Luke 13:3,5)....
and got
themselves baptized na

  • (>>v.38 ~ >>Acts 22:16),

ultimately resulting in
IN them na ---
>>Titus 3:5>>John 3:5)

  • FOR THE summary REMISSION OF ALL THEIR SINNINGS [ilang mga pag-PAKASALA]
  • ...... committed during that period in time when they have not believed as yet in what JESUS has personally done for them in Calvary!

THESE ARE THE GRAND AMNESTY CONDITIONS WE  ALL HAVE TO STRICTLY FOLLOW

  • or our earlier claimed SALVATION
  • is an embarrassment,
  • false hope
  • and of irreversible catastrophic effect
  • when eternity comes!
