T#077 HOW THE LORD JESUS' RESURRECTION PER GOD’s PLAN CAN BE ENJOYED BY ALL OF US HERE, NOW & HEREAFTER!

>>JOHN 20:1-10

>>Verse 1 – the first day of the week

• the day after that specific (rest) Sabbath day

• is emblematic of THE NEW BEGINNING

• for every individual

• just like one accepts without question a new week is a new start.

In point of the world's history

• THE NEW BEGINNING started on that particular

• PENTECOST DAY of A.D. 33

• --- the inauguration of THE CHURCH AGE

which in turn ushers

to

TIMELESS

THE NEW JERUSALEM. 

• In >>Leviticus 23:10, 11, and 15

• a sheaf of the first fruits of the harvest

• was offered to THE LORD JESUS

• as a wave offering on the day

• after The Sabbath.

That sheaf of the first fruits
actually stood for
THE CHRIST

• as we ought to readily from hindsight understand now(!)

• THE FIRST FRUIT IN RESURRECTION

• (>>1^st Corinthians 15:20 and 23).

THE CHRIST resurrected
exactly on that day
 after the Sabbath.

• By HIS death

• HE signaled that the corrupted old creation

• (which was completed in six days of work followed by one rest day)

• was then to give way to THE CHURCH AGE

• where we are now!

In HIS resurrection

• HE germinated THE NEW HUMANITY

• with the new life with GOD

• and it sprouted on that specific Pentecost day of A.D.33.

That specific day
of HIS resurrection

• was appointed by GOD as recorded in >>Psalms 118:24

• was prophesied as “this is the day” in >>Psalms 2:7 and

• was foretold by JESUS HIMSELF

• as the third day (>>Matthew 16:21 and >>John 2:19, 22).

On
that particular day
in the history of
the world

• THE CHRIST was born in resurrection

• as THE FIRST-BORN SON of GOD (>>Acts 13:33 and

• >>Hebrews 1:5) and

• “THE FIRST BORN from THE DEAD”

• to be “THE HEAD of THE BODY

• THE CHURCH” (>>Colossians 1:18)

• where we are NOW(!) time-wise

• in ---THE CHURCH AGE!

THE LORD’s resurrection
has already happened

and since then has been
an accomplished fact

• but, its significance requires OUR individual’s seeking

• via THE METHODOLOGY of OBEDIENCE

• to THE CALL for OVERCOMERS

• by JESUS THE RESURRECTED LORD & CHRIST

• as REVEALED in >>Revelation Chapters 1, 2, 3, >>>blogBOOK#5.

GOD’s principle we
have to follow and
should not change
is

--- to follow/obey

what are written
in HIS BOOK.

• We as HIS disciples must seek HIM in HIS resurrected status. And we do not simultaneously encounter and experience HIM at the same time!

• Mary Magdalene discovered HIS resurrection!

• Peter and John were the first to know of the discovery of HIS resurrection.

• In our reading so far, Peter and John knew only of the discovery, Mary Magdalene discovered it!

• Peter and John were merely satisfied with the fact of HIS resurrection and just went to their own homes thereafter.

BUT, Mary Magdalene

sought further

THE RESURRECTED LORD

• and chose to stay in the vicinity of the tomb

• making her THE VERY FIRST TO GET ENCOUNTERED

• AND EXPERIENCE

• JESUS in HIS RESURRECTED STATUS!

{THE LORD was there
all the time BUT

was not manifested until
>>verse 16!}

• This is also true of how it is and will be with us.

• After that discovery by Mary Magdalene

• no one else will be a discoverer.

All of us

are actually being lead

by

THE RESURRECTED JESUS

• to our individual respective encounters with HIM

• in our LIVING’s various SITUATIONS

• and EXPERIENCES >>>T#075

TO KNOWING HIM
and HIS RESURRECTION

• as we are here now(!) attempting to do.

And knowing HIM

further

as did Mary Magdalene

• by standing by where HE was last physically located

• we too are to stand by HIM

• figuratively and literally

• in HIS WORD.

In fact >>Revelation 19:13
has been written for us

• to believe NOW(!)

• and not any later:

• that when HE comes again from heaven

we will see HIM marked /
tagged / labeled / referred
to

as THE WORD of GOD.

HOW WE ARE TREATING
THE WORD OF GOD NOW(!)

IS HOW WE ARE also 
TREATING JESUS NOW!!!!

>>Verses 5, 6, and 7

All the things which
were cast off

• from THE LORD’s buried body

• and left in the tomb

• signify THE OLD CREATION

• which ended at HIS tomb.

HE was crucified and
buried with it and

• HE was resurrected from within it

• leaving THE OLD CREATION in the tomb and

• HE came out of it as THE FIRST FRUIT

• of THE NEW CREATION or THE NEW HUMANITY.

All the things
left in the tomb

• were a testimony to THE LORD’s resurrection.

• Without them left there in good order

• it would have been impossible for Peter and John

• to believe

• as they did

• as recorded in >>verse 8

• THAT THE LORD HAS NOT BEEN TAKEN AWAY BY SOMEONE

BUT RESURRECTED
by HIMSELF!

• These things were offered to THE LORD

• and wrapped about HIM

• by his two disciples, Joseph and Nicodemus

• (>>John 19:38-42).

What they wrought
on THE LORD

• because of their love for HIM

• proved very vital

• for use in testifying

• for THE LORD’s resurrection

YES, we
don’t have to be
A STAR or

any better than
the others

to be providing
testimony
for THE LORD’s
resurrection!
