3. WE are to have an increasing sensitivity to our sinfulness and sinnings. >>1st John 1:8
4. WE are to live in willingness to obey HIS commandments. >>1st John 2:1-3
5. WE are to be increasingly less attracted to worldly things as we used to prior. >>1st John 2:15-17
6. WE are to abide in HIM and in HIS righteousness. >>1st John 2:28-29
7. WE are to behave as The Children of God eagerly awaiting HIS 2nd coming. >>1st John 3:1-2
8. WE are to live in purity because HE is without sin and HE is coming again to fetch us. >>1st John 3:3-5
9. WE are to grow in experience as being freed from the power of sin. >>1st John 3:6
10. WE are to grow in genuine love for one another in The Family of GOD. >>1st John 3:10-17
11. WE are to increasingly succeed at demonstrating our love for one another in deed and in the truth. >>1st John 3:18-19
12. WE are to have the witness of our conscience of being able tell right from wrong. >>1st John 3:20-21
13. WE are to have that constant affirmation we are abiding in HIM by The Holy Spirit Who lives in us. >>1st John 3:24
14. WE are to have the ability to distinguish truth from errors. >>1st John 4:6
15. WE are to confess to others JESUS as THE SON OF GOD. >>1st John 4:15
16. WE are to increasingly believe that JESUS is THE CHRIST. >>1st John 5:1
17. WE are to manifest overcoming faith.. >>1st John 5:4-5
18. WE are to believe the promises of GOD. >>1st John 5:9-12
19. WE are to trust the purpose of THE WORD of GOD ---- that we may have ETERNAL LIFE. >>1st John 5:13
20. WE are to discover through understanding that JESUS THE CHRIST is THE TRUTH. >>1st John 5:20
