T#071 LIFE OUGHT TO HAVE BEEN JUST TRULY EATING, DRINKING & ENJOYING LANG GYUD UNTA AS AUTHORITIES OF GOD ON EARTH!

>>Genesis 1:26-28 ~

Then GOD said, “Let US make mankind in OUR image,

• according to OUR likeness in the matter of AUTHORITY;

• and let them rule over the fishes of the sea

• and over the birds of the sky

• and over the cattle

• and over all the earth,

• and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.

And GOD conceptualized
mankind
in HIS OWN image,

• in the image of GOD HE conceptualized mankind;

• male and female HE conceptualized them.

• And GOD blessed them;

• and GOD said to them,

• “Be fruitful and multiply,

• and fill the earth,

• and subdue it;

• and rule over the fishes of the sea

• and over the birds of the sky,

• and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

GOD’s intention in
creating us
 according to
HIS image
in the likeness
of HIS AUTHORITY

is that we rule
in HIS BEHALF
over all HIS creation.

>>Genesis 2:7-9 ~

• Then THE LORD GOD formed the man of dust from the ground --- the body,

• and breathe into his nostrils the breath of LIFE --- the spirit;

• and the man became a living soul --- of intelligence, emotions, urges & appettites, and will

• And THE LORD GOD planted a garden toward the east, in Eden;

• and there HE placed the man WHOM HE had formed.

• And out of the ground THE LORD GOD caused to grow

• every tree that is pleasing to the sight

• and good for food;

• the tree of LIFE also in the midst of the garden,

• and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.”

When finally GOD
made the man,

• HE breathe into him a spirit

• which gave him LIFE

• and placed him in a garden

and did not give
sets of laws, rules
and regulations
for man to
keep his LIFE;

• instead, and in that garden, HE put in front of him

• every seed-yielding plant and tree

for his continuous and uninterrupted supply of food for LIFE.

• Thus, was what GOD impressed on the man,

• that he should just take unto himself

• --- only those which GOD has categorically provided him

to eat, drink,
and enjoy!

BUT ALL THESE
CAME TO PASS WHEN
OUR FIRST PARENTS
CHOSE TO DO THE
CONTRARY OF GOD’S
PLAN:

• when they chose to eat of the fruit

• from the tree of knowledge of good and evil

• which was to cater to their entrepreneurial taste

• the first & original sin

to make them wise
and better and freer
on their decisions

• so that they would not have to depend solely

• on GOD for their living forever!

WE are also
consistently doing the
same now!

• Such action cut our LIVES off from GOD.

• And so, to restore us back to eating, drinking and enjoying

• by HIS MERCY & GRACE

HE put on record for us
to reflect ……..

• what HE actually did

• with HIS then Only Chosen People

for our benefit NOW(!)!

>>Exodus 12:21-28 ~

• Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said to them,

• “Go and take for yourselves lambs according to your families,

• and slay the Passover lamb.

• And you shall take a bunch of hyssop and dip it in the blood which is in the basin,

• and apply some of the blood that is in the basin to the lintel and the two doorposts;

• and none of you shall go outside the door of his house until morning.

• For THE LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians;

• and when HE sees the blood on the lintel and the two doorposts,

• THE LORD will pass over the door and will not allow the destroyer to come in to your houses to smite you.

• And you shall observe this event as an ordinance for you and your children forever.

• And it will come about when you enter the land which THE LORD will give you, as HE has promised, that you shall observe this rite.

• And it will come about when your children will say to you,

• ‘What does this rite mean to you?

• That you shall say, ‘It is a Passover sacrifice to THE LORD

• who passed by over the houses of the sons of Israel in Egypt

• when HE smote the Egyptians, but spared our homes.’

• And the people bowed low and worshipped.

• Then the sons of Israel went and did so;

• just as THE LORD had commanded Moses and Aaron,

• so they did.”

In the actual
EXODUS,
the Israelites
ate THE
PASSOVER LAMB

• to continue the way of GOD's provisions-instructions only

• which they have started to obey

• in their last hours in Egypt ~~~

• to THE LIFE away from the bondage

• they were to enjoy in Canaan.

>>Exodus 16:4, 14-15, 35 ~

• “Then THE LORD said to Moses,

• “Behold, I will rain bread from heaven to you;

• and the people shall go out and gather a day’s portion every day,

• that I may test them daily,

• whether or not they will walk in MY PROVISION-INSTRUCTIONS …

• When the layer of dew evaporated,

• behold, on the surface of the wilderness there was a fine flake-like thing,

• fine as the frost on the ground.  

• When the sons of Israel saw it,

• they said to one another,

• “What is it?”

• For they did not know what it was.

• And Moses said to them,

• “It is the bread which THE LORD has given you to eat

• …. And, the sons of Israel ate the manna forty years,

• until they came to the border of the Land of Canaan.”

When they journeyed
farther through the
wilderness and
became weary and
unhappy
in their LIFE of travel

• GOD sent them manna from heaven

• for their daily supply for eating

• even unto the day they were in the border of Canaan.

>>Exodus 17:1, 6 ~

• Then all the congregations of the sons of Israel

• journeyed by stages from the wilderness of sin,

• according to the command of THE LORD,

• and camped at Rephidim,

• and there was no water for the people to drink…

• ”Behold I will stand before you there on the rock at Horeb;

• and you shall strike the rock,

• and water will come out of it,

• that the people may drink.”

• And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.

When in their
travel LIFE they
 got thirsty and had
no water to drink

• GOD gave them to drink the water from,

• of all surprises,

• from THE ROCK

• THE LORD JESUS THE CHRIST

And so did
The Sons of Israel
enter and possessed
the promised land
of milk and honey ---

eating, drinking
and enjoying

UNTA FOR THE REST
of TIME ---

IF ONLY THEY
SETTLED WITH

WHAT GOD

categorically

PROVIDED THEM !!!

• Even in THIS NEW COVENANT times

• THE LORD JESUS was seen and heard

• even speaking of eating, drinking, and enjoying now(!)

• for --- THE ETERNAL LIFE of

JEWS & GENTILES alike!

>>John 6:35, 51, 57b ~

• JESUS said to them,

• “I am THE BREAD of LIFE;

• he who comes to ME

• [believing I am THE CHRIST]

• shall not hunger,

• and he who believes in ME [as THE CHRIST] 

• shall never thirst.”

• … I am THE LIVING BREAD

• that came down out of heaven;

• if anyone eats of THIS BREAD,

• he shall live forever;

• and THE BREAD also which I shall give

• for the life of the world is MY flesh

• ….so he who eats ME,

• he shall also live because of ME.”

HE said HE was

• THE BREAD of  ---

• or THE SUSTENANCE

• for LIFE ---

and that anyone who
partakes of HIM

• will live in eternity

• because of HIM.

>>John 4:14 ~

• “but whoever drinks of THE WATER

• that I shall give him shall never thirst;

• but THE WATER that I shall give him

• shall become in him THE WELL of WATER

• SPRINGING UP TO ETERNAL LIFE.” 

HE also said

• that HE is

• THE WELL of LIVING WATER

even to them who
are not even
experiencing thirst
or brief
inadequacies

• in this LIFE.

OUR REAL PROBLEM

• WHICH WHEN UNSOLVED

• WILL BOTHER US EVEN UNTO ETERNITY

• IS NOT FRONTALLY OUR BEHAVIOR

• TOWARDS HIM & OUR FELLOWMEN !!!

IT IS WHAT WE EAT,
DRINK and ENJOY

• with which we can

• resultantly behave towards HIM

• & our fellowmen

• IN THIS LIFETIME

• living in this world !!!

WHEN man does not
eat, drink and enjoy

• THE LORDSHIP & CHRISTHOOD of JESUS

• as JESUS has invited us

• in the above scriptures

we

are actually eating,
drinking, and enjoying

all else

• to our misery !!!

• because

It is only when we take,
eat, drink and  enjoy

HIS LORDSHIP &
CHRISTHOOD after GOD

has dispensed HIMSELF to us

and by virtue of digestion
keep us alive, well,
and continuing .... that 

we enjoy LIFE evermore
unto eternity!!!

>>Luke Chapter 14

GOD has likened HIMSELF
to a man who
made a grand dinner.

• When it was ready

• HE sent out invitations through his slaves

• “Come for it is now ready.” (verse 17).

• We who have been invited

• are merely to come to where it is,

• eat, drink, and enjoy

• all that HE has prepared for us.

We know further
that in a matter of time

after our partaking of the
food, drink and enjoyment

• digestion sets in and assimilation into our beings is accomplished

• as they become nutrients for our bodies.

These nutrients supply
energy,
repair and replace whatever
are worn-out of our tissues,
body cells

(including blood which
is being replaced every 24 hours)
and

• we will have been renewed

• to as far a degree as the nutrients have become

• our very constituents and elements.

This is why nutritionists say

“we are what we eat”!

• WHAT A TRUTH

• TRUE TO BOTH

• THE PHYSICAL

• & SPIRITUAL

• REALMS !!!

• Blessed be THE GOD

• and Father of our LORD JESUS THE CHRIST,

• Who according to HIS great mercy

• but imperishable,

• that is, through

• THE living and abiding WORD of GOD.

your years of GODLINESS
you ought-to-be teachers

• you have need again for someone to teach you

• this time, THE ELEMENTARY TRUTHS of GOD’s WORD.

You need milk and
not solid food!

• Anyone who lives on milk

• being still an infant

• is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness.

• But solid food is for the mature

• who by constant use

• have trained themselves

• to distinguish good from evil.

Therefore we have to
schedule leaving

THE ELEMENTARY
TEACHINGS

of THE CHRIST

by studying them very well

& obeying them

both the explicit & implied
commands in them

so we can press on to maturity,

with no hang-up about
REPENTANCE from dead works

and of THE FAITH in
& towards GOD,

of the single comparative
study to learn (singular - not plural)

about BAPTISMS because
there are many,

THE LAYING ON OF HANDS,

THE RESURRECTION
of the DEAD,

and THE ETERNAL JUDGMENT.

And this we determine to do,
GOD-permitting. 

We are-to-crave as milk
THE PURE
WORD of GOD about

• REPENTANCE (Grade I)

• THE FAITH IN & TOWARDS GOD (Grade II)

• BAPTISMS (Grade III a & b)

• THE LAYING ON OF HANDS (Grade IV)

• THE RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD (Grade V) and

• THE ETERNAL JUDGMENT (Grade VI)

BEFORE

WE ARE TO MATURE
&

BE ABLE TO PROCEED

TO EAT SOLID

SPIRITUAL FOOD.
