GOD’s provision of rest while in this world |
You are still in the EGYPT OF YOUR LIFE if your interests & involvements revolve around pursuing recognition, fame, fortune, influence, position, power, and sovereignty --- in the world of politics, money-making,hobbies, infotainment, organizations, --- even in these religions & churches, etc. ending up in:
IMMORALITY,
IMPURITY, INDECENCY, IDOLATRY, SORCERY, HATRED, UNFORGIVENESS, STRIFE,
DISCORD, JEALOUSY, ANGER, ILL-TEMPER, SELFISHNESS, DISSENSIONS, SEPARATION,
DIVISIONS due peculiar opinions, DENOMINATIONALISM, ENVY, DRUNKENNESS,
ORGIES, and the like….
Galatians 5:19-22
“Come to ME all
of you who are heavy laden (because of
any or all of the above), and I will give you REST!” ---
Matthew 11:28
“Take MY yoke upon you, and LEARN FROM ME, for I am
gentle and humble in heart; and you shall find REST for your souls: your INTELLIGENCE, EMOTIONS, URGES & APPETITES and WILL!” ---Matthew 11:29

PONDER on the crucifixion & death of THE CHRIST for US!
1) >>> BELIEVE in
JESUS as your LORD and THE CHRIST! (not just your Lord & Savior ONLY)---Acts 16:31
Acts 2:14-36, 37
2) >>> REPENT and
Acts 2:38
WE CAN NEVER BECOME NEW IN ATTITUDE AND INVOLVEMENT
vis-à-vis THOSE THAT HAVE MADE US WEARY AND HEAVY-LADEN, unless we first
cross THE RED SEA, to a frontier beyond our knowledge and experiences.

PONDER on where JESUS was lead to and what JESUS HIMSELF underwent after HE was baptized “to fulfill all righteousness (Matthew 3:13-4:11). HE is OUR WAY (John 14:6) and HE HIMSELF showed us how HE overcame HIS SELF as the devil tempted HIM by reckoning with and wielding The Word of God. PONDER on the truth in 1st Corinthians 10:11-13. We really have absolutely no reason to complain ! ! ! Only those who have not been through the RED SEA are entitled to complain.

a life of increasing consciousness that we should not be at home with OUR
SELVES and THE WORLD! (Romans 7:14-23)

are not inutile despite these things THROUGH JESUS THE CHRIST OUR LORD! (Romans
7:24-25)
IN
OUR MISTAKES THOUGH, our Father disciplines us (Hebrews 12:4-7); that
we may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with our
LORD (Philippians 3:10)
and the fellowship of HIS sufferings (Philippians 1:29-30)

“We have troubles all around us, but we are not defeated. We often don’t know what to do, but we should not give up. We are persecuted but THE CHRIST does not leave us. We are hurt sometimes, but we are not destroyed. We have the death of JESUS in our bodies. We carry this death so that the life of JESUS can also be seen in us.” ---

OUR
TROUBLE is: despite we have been through our RED SEA, we have become
convinced by the devil in thinking that THE LORD is not anymore CAPABLE OF
SAVING and NOT ANYMORE WITHIN US, and we are looking forward to our Canaan at
no given notice, not knowing as per GOD’s plan, we still have to go through The Jordan River of our life,
“as we ought to be obedient unto death,
even death on the cross”------Philippians 2:8
“to save us from our SELVES by HIS life.”

2nd Corinthians
2:14
THEREFORE,
let us fear lest, while a promise remains of entering HIS rest, anyone of us should seem to have
come short of it. For indeed we have had good news preached to us, just us
they also; but The Word they heard did not profit them, because it was not
united in faith in them who heard. For we who have believed enter that rest,
just as HE has said, “As I swore in My wrath, they shall not enter MY
rest.”-----
