  • but-NOT- IN DIS-ARRAY


ORGANISMICALY

BEHAVING

HUMANLY-UNLEAD

DISCIPLES

of THE LORD

JESUS THE CHRIST

---- THE ALL-OVERCOMERS!


v7 “And care/of THE MESSENGER
  • to THE CHURCH described as
  • IN BROTHERLY LOVE
  • write:
  • HE WHO is holy,
  • WHO is true,
  • WHO has the key of David,
  • WHO opens and no one will shut,
  • and WHO shuts and no one opens, says this:

JESUS is HOLY

  • HIS life and HIMSELF is HOLINESS.
  • HE is THE TRUTH before GOD.
  • HE holds AUTHORITY even over David,
  • (the first in line of the kings of Israel).
  • JESUS knew ....
  • that when The Reformers among The Roman Catholic Church then ... did their task of reforming Within
  • they had later “the help and support”
  • of the governments of Germany and England
  • and they ought not to have become ORGANIZERS
  • of what has become ... ChurchES ... thereafter inevitably

 yet .... To-BECOME THE CHURCH
in BROTHERLY LOVE

as referred to then in A.D. 96 yet
.... BY THE CHRIST JESUS HIMSELF

 that we ALL
ought-to-be --- NOW!!!

  • The picture HE wanted to impress on us is
  • that HE opens jobs and opportunities for us
  • under THE UNIVERSAL PRIESTHOOD OF EVERY BELIEVER IN THE LORDSHIP & THE CHRISTHOOD OF JESUS
  • that no one can succeed interfering and
  • with which we need no support from whosoever and whatsoever,
  • except from HIMSELF DIRECTLY
  • as our CHIEF-PRIEST

That is the holiness
mind-set

 (distinctively unique and
different from all

 we are to be with) ---

 THE LORD wants
us to have!!!


The Greek word “Philadelphia” in English means brotherly love. THE CHURCH in Philadelphia means THE CHURCH in brotherly love eldering one another. 
  • As part of the THE CHURCH,
  • we individually ought to have
  • THE LIFE and THE AUTHORITY of THE CHRIST.
  • We individually ought just to be
  • eldering one another.
  • In THE CHRIST,
  • we are to meet, gather and care for
  • one another as a family in GOD's household.

There is to be no
organization for us
to reckon with ---

 between us and
THE LORD in
our
LIFETIME
COMMITMENTS
to HIM,
(>>>T#001)

no officials nor gentry
[clergy and laity]

 as
classification between
and among ourselves.

To be above others
is glory in the world

 such as to-be
OVERCOME!

 >>1st John 5:4-5

  • In THE CHURCH we are to be a part of,
  • there is to be no such distinction.
  • THE CHURCH stands
  • not on such distinction
  • but on brotherly love
  • diha sa atong pagpa-upoy-upoy lang gyud!

 v8 ‘I know your deeds.
  • Behold, I have put before you
  • an open door which no one can shut,
  • because you have little power --- paupoy-upoy lang
  • and have kept MY word,
  • and have not denied MY name.

THE LORD
knows our deeds!

 They are the doings
of insignificant people

 like we ought-to-behave.

  • All the children of GOD were one under King David.
  • Later, they were divided into the kingdoms of Judah and Israel.
  • Then, they were further divided and taken to captivity in Babylon.
  • After their captivity, they returned very weak, batch by batch, and they re-built The Temple.
  • It was tellingly though very inferior to the one Solomon built.
  • Yet, GOD spoke through the prophet in Zechariah 4:10, “Who despises the day of small things?”

And so is our time

 and our involvements
in being part of

 THE CHURCH
In Brotherly Love,

  • in our putting ourselves
  • in the situation of restoring
  • THE original CONFINES of THE CHURCH
  • --- as designed by JESUS,
  • after all and amidst all
  • the apostasies, corruptions, and divisions
  • as recorded and discussed earlier.
  • We have only little power
  • compared to the workings on that day THE CHURCH was established
  • on that Pentecost Day of A.D. 33.
  • IN these days of CORRUPTION,
  • THE time we spend
  • in THE TASK of OVERCOMING
  • among THE CALLED-OUTS we are with
  • are really RE-OCCURENCES of
  • THE DAYS of small things!!!!

What a parallel for us
to learn from and be
guided by!


THE-JUDGE-LORD acknowledges our forebears and is reminding us of two things:

 1) not denying HIS NAME or AUTHORITY and 

 2) not denying HIS WORD or INSTRUCTIONS.
UNLIKE our predecessors,
  • we are not to allow any one to call us
  • by any title or greeting except as Christian or Brother/Sister, respectively.
  • While others proudly refer to themselves as Adventists, Baptists, Roman Catholics, Charismatics, Pentecostals, Evangelicals, Calvinists, Wesleyans, etc. ...., and
  • get their leaders OFFICIALLY ADDRESSED as Father, Reverend, Pastor, Monsignor, Your Holiness, His Eminence, etc.,
  • we are to desire for ourselves
  • getting referred to

as mere brothers,
sisters
or Christians only;

  • otherwise,
  • it would be denying HIS NAME and/or AUTHORITY
  • and we have not kept HIS WORD.

We ought to believe and live
that the name
Christian

 ought to be
enough to separate
us

 from the world.
BUT they in
those denominations
and organized
churches

 think otherwise!

  • We are to be undenominated
  • and to assume no name for ourselves
  • (>>1st Corinthians 1:11-12).
  • Although others may adopt,
  • we need not react to being called Christian
  • when they refer to us with such name with respect (>>Acts 11:26)
  • even if !!!!
  • we are tempted and pressured to believe
  • we cannot do our job without the support of these religionists / denominationalists around.

Yet, in all
these seeming
difficulties,

 THE LORD JESUS

  • has designed our work to have no need for men’s support
  • including from organizations
  • (a lesson we ought to learn from the reformers’
  • experience and worldly means)
  • such as, we have now(!) :
  • advertisements, propaganda, gimmicks, or fund solicitations.

The challenge stands.
If any one can find a single
scripture in
THE New COVENANT

  • to show disciples then and now(!) were / are required
  • TO GIVE to GOD and/or to any local congregation

and not directly to the saints,
[>>1st Corinthians16:1-3]

  • with THE CHURCH serving merely as a gathering agent
  • for the purpose of remitting to afar such giving
  • --- for the particular saints’ specific relief
  • --- they are to receive such!!!

And we still have all
the opportunities

 to work
and the door for work

 is still open
because THE LORD knows

  • we have little power and influence and
  • we just have to contend with that!


v9 ‘Behold, I will cause those of the synagogue of Satan,
  • who say that they are Jews,
  • and are not, but lie
  • --- behold, I will make them to come
  • and bow down at your feet,
  • and to know that I have loved you.

Synagogue has
always
been associated with

 THE JUDAISM
RELIGION

and JUDAISM is
not JUDAISM without:


[1] the material temple

 [2] the law

 [3] the mediatorial priests and

 [4] the earthly promises.

Despite the fact
THE LORD
has done away all
these four,

  • Satan through willing and eager NICOLAITANS
  • in THE CHURCH
  • brought all these four
  • back to THE CHURCH.

CHRISTIANS ought
to teach one another

 (>>>T#010)

to be able to live with
greater emphasis
proving that:


 [1] our body has become THE TEMPLE of The Holy Spirit as He INDWELT us (>>1st Corinthians 6:19)

 [2] the written laws have been replaced with THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT (>>Romans 8:2-4)

 [3] ALL of us in THE CHURCH are THE KINGDOM of PRIESTS to unbelievers (>>1st Peter 2:9, >>Revelation 1:6) and
  • there ought not to be any mediator (>>1st Timothy 2:5) between us and GOD but THE LORD JESUS THE CHRIST alone, and
[4] the promises with us, JEWS and GENTILES now(!) --- are for THE LIFE in eternity and THE CALL TO HOLINESS (>>1st Peter 1:14-19) is that
  • we are to be distinctively unique and different from those denominationalists:
  • from our homes as we go,
  • we are to preach the gospel
  • in contrast to Judaism’s
  • come, pray and worship (only) in The Temple.
  • They even wrongly teach GOD still owes The Jews some promises;
  • yet, refer to >>Joshua 21:43-45
  • in whatever version you and they may want to read
  • .... and be convinced that even
  • ---- as of Joshua's death,

GOD owed
Israel-as-a-Nation
nothing anymore!


When we JEWS &
GENTILES individually

 became part of
THE CHURCH:
the worshipper
that we are....

THE GOD
we worship ....

 The Law
of The Spirit ....

 the priestly role ....

 and

 the place of worship

 ARE altogether IN us

 i-n-d-i-v-i-d-u-a-l-l-y !


Surely, GOD is making
it easy for us to be
the new creations
  • without the old of Judaism imposed on us
  • while those who are corrupting THE CHURCH
  • are requiring us these matters to their kind of Christianity
  • and ETERNAL DESTINY @ The Lord's Coming.

What an honor
THE LORD confers

  • to OVERCOMERS to these landmarks of
  • the old religion which even some
  • in THE CHURCH in Philadelphia HERSELF
  • and therefore among us
  • are in the most subtle manner
  • ----  trying to get into us again and

which we should
ALL overcome!



 v10 ‘Because you have kept THE WORD
  • of MY perseverance,
  • I will also keep you from
  • THE hour of TESTING

>>Matthew 24:21 ~
THE GREAT TRIBULATION
>>Luke 21:36 ~
TO be-made-to ESCAPE FROM IT

  • { through THAT imminent MOMENT
  • from that hour which is about to come
  • upon the whole world,
  • to test them who dwell upon the earth.

BEFORE that particular hour comes,

are the days of
THE CHRIST’s patience.

  • While still in THIS CHURCH AGE, THE LORD is still patient to the very people who in all sincerity and eagerness are working for HIM
  • despite they scorn and antagonize HIM when
  • they do HIS work
  • according to their respective entrepreneurial ways.
  • But HE is all-patience towards them
  • because HIS WILL is on a take-it-or-leave-it basis,
  • no pressure to any one --- whosoever-will basis
  • as all covenants should be understood.
  • HE wants everybody individually to repent.


For us overcomers
still living-behaving as

THE CHURCH
in Brotherly Love NOW(!)---

 we will be kept from
that very hour of trial

 that is yet  to come upon

 the whole world ----
THE GREAT TRIBULATION(!)

  • to try them who till the end of their living
  • as saints IN THIS CHURCH AGE  THTHIS 
  • continue to dwell in BUT NOT OVERCOME {>>>T#027}
  • politics, business, religions, and even all kinds, forms and manifestations of human GOVERNANCES
  • we ALL cannot escape from!

Oh, what
a great promise

- THE GREAT RESCUE -

 - - >>> THE RAPTURE - -

>>Revelation 12:5
>>Revelation 3:10

  • ---whenever THAT will be ---
  • will keep us still alive at that TIME, from the test
  • BUT will not include them who stick to THOSE CORRUPTIONS in THE CHURCHes
  • and do not answer
  • THE CHRIST’s call for:
  • HOLINESS, >>1st Peter 1:15-16
  • and REPENTANCE
  • to become OVERCOMERS as from:
    • ~ THE CHURCH MARRIED with THE WORLD already in A.D. 313 in THYATIRA then BUT NOW(!) continuing in THE WORLD to the present(!); out of which some therein have obeyed / are obeying >>Revelation 2:26, [your sharer herein is one of them(!)]
    • ~ THE CHURCH in REMNANT STATUS as THE FEW that left HER in A.D. 1517 in SARDIS then BUT NOW(!) continuing in England & Germany to the present(!); out of which some have obeyed / are obeying >>Revelation 3:5
    • ~ THE CHURCH in BROTHERLY LOVE started noticeably sometime in A.D. 1825 in PHILADELPHIA then BUT NOW(!) continuing in THE WORLD to the present(!); all have obeyed / are obeying >>Revelation 3:12,
    • ~ THE CHURCH in THEIR OWN JUDGMENTS (in retrospect started sometime in A.D. 1520 in Europe and continuing where else in THE WORLD as the proliferating denominations to the present(!); out of which some therein have obeyed / are obeying >>Revelation 3:21.

    Yes, what a lesson to learn
    that WE ALL have to LIVE

    • THE WAY of THE CHURCH in Brotherly Love,
    • not loosely as many claimant Christians imagine they can,
    • but according strictly to HIS WORD
    • like the Bereans were declared noble (>>Acts 17:11) as
    • we cling to the assurance we have in >>2nd Corinthians 1:13-14!!!

     v11 ‘I  am coming quickly

    • hold fast what you have,
    • in order that no one take your crown.

    What we have
    “to hold fast” here are

    • “(HIS) WORD” and 
    • “(HIS) NAME” or [AUTHORITY] 
    • “(HIS) PATIENCE” and
    • our work of overcoming those corruptions and THOSE CORRUPTORS
    • from within THE CHURCH

    that no one
    takes our CROWN
    because we have
    the crown reserved
    for us already!!!

    • CAUTION: There is that possibility that it maybe taken away from us.

    In THE BIBLE, only one is
    recorded to have known
    he has a crown awaiting
    him in eternal life

     --- only Paul
    (>>2nd Timothy 4:8).

    • We are to take note
    • we are to hold fast behaving
    • merely as brothers one to another
    • in brotherly love and not allow anyone to make us
    • behave as NICOLAITAN or
    • teacher there among (>>Matthew 23:8-10);
    • otherwise,
    • that man has succeeded to causing your CROWN
    • to be taken away from you as
    • that man and you will have become member of
    • THE CHURCH merely in the judgment of men.

    Yes, there shall
    continue to be

    the overcoming work

    even in THE CHURCH
    in Brotherly Love.



     v12 ‘He who overcomes,
    • I will make him a pillar
    • in The Temple of MY GOD,
    • and he will not go out from it anymore;
    • and I will write upon him
    • THE NAME of MY GOD,
    • and THE NAME of The City of MY GOD,
    • THE NEW JERUSALEM,
    • which comes down out of heaven
    • from MY GOD,
    • and I will write upon him
    • MY new NAME.

    Yes, THE KING/CHIEF-PRIEST
    -JUDGE-SAVIOR/LORD

    in the most categorical terms
    is challenging all of us

    in THE CHURCH
    in Brotherly Love

    • to discern who they are who may be succeeding
    • at corrupting fellowships and meetings (>>>T#011)
    • by their behaviors, schemes, practices, and teachings

    tailored at allowing

    • only sharers of THE WORD whom they allow to be heard
    • ---- and only what they specifically like to be preached
    • ---- or even cut-short the time particularly on them
    • they are not comfortable with!

    >>2ndTimothy 4:3-4

     has been and
    will be true to them!

    • In GOD’s PLAN though,
    • those they despise will be no less than the pillars in The Temple of GOD.
    • Just as when a pillar is removed from an earthly temple the temple cannot stand,
    • what a joy to realize we overcomers as THE CHURCH in Brotherly Love
    • make The Temple of GOD stand.
    • There are 3 names written on the overcomer in THE CHURCH in Philadelphia:
    • The Name of God, The Name of The New Jerusalem, and The Lord’s New Name!

    This only proves how
    close and intimate
    we shall be

    with & to GOD among
    all HIS possessions in

    HIS dwelling place

    and be revered

    with HIM in all of eternity.


    v13 ‘He who has an ear,
    • let him listen
    • to what The Spirit says



    This challenge

     is for every

    CLAIMANT
     CHRISTIAN

    • who claim to be adherents to HIS WORD;
    • yet, do not spend time, effort and devotion (>>Acts 17:11)
    • with determination understand (>>2nd Corinthians 1:13-14)

    and thereafter

     play their individual roles

     among and with some of

     the leaders, supporters,
    followers and members
    of the different churches

    • The Holy Spirit may get him or her
    • to be in and out of (>>John 10:9-10)
    • now(!) and then!!!!
