T#028 JESUS / YESHUA's DISCIPLESHIP METHODOLOGY


JESUS / YESHUA

  • Only in JESUS / YESHUA and HIS DISCIPLESHIP, 
  • can we have .... REST & PEACE !!!
  • There are just too much STIRS & SUFFERINGS in this world.

But we can still be
CHEERFUL & CONFIDENT
in our living because

JESUS / YESHUA
HAS OVERCOME
THE WORLD already !!!

WHO IS JESUS or YESHUA?
  • If we are to be right in accordance with the purposes & intents of GOD HIMSELF,
  • we should take it from HOW John The Baptist, HIS precursor ---
  • answers this particular question for us now(!) as written in The Scriptures.

The Lamb of GOD
who takes away

the sin
of the world!


I. TO ALL OF MANKIND as he intended
  • because all of us have fallen short of the glory of GOD (>>Romans 3:23).
  • TO ALL OF US PART OF THE GENERATIONS OF PEOPLES called out from such situations in THIS CHURCH AGE ---
  • because we ALL have been and are still pre-occupying ourselves even till now!!!

LIVING 
in the 7 pursuits for:
i
       1. RECOGNITION, FAME, sometimes FORTUNE ---

    as the lives characterized by stand-bys, artisans, artists, sportsmen, teachers, students, mass-media practitioners, medical/engineering/law & all professionals, etc., to scientists among us including their fans, advocates & followers ---
  • are spent until they & ALL of US are encountered by JESUS / YESHUA.
       2. INFLUENCE, POSITIONS, POWER

    as the lives of businessmen and politicians among us including their customers, suppliers and supporters/followers ---
  • are spent until they are encountered by JESUS / YESHUA.
       3. SOVEREIGN AUTHORITY --

    as the lives of the religious among us are spent trying to work out for the establishment of their sovereign authority in their local churches and places of geographical subdivisions they claim are for & in behalf of THE LORD JESUS / YESHUA --
  • over 1 & 2 above, their members!!!

II. PARTICULARLY TO John The Baptist's Two (2) of his Disciples
  • he was with when JESUS / YESHUA was walking within their sight & recognition,
  • but herein only one is named --- Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter.
  • Both upon hearing
  • that simple utterance by John the Baptist

  • --- FOLLOWED JESUS / YESHUA immediately!!!
  • WHY??? Because per

>> John 1:38
  • THE DUO saw JESUS / YESHUA as their TEACHER,
  • prove by their greeting HIM in spontaneity --- “RABBI”
  • and wanted to follow HIM
  • even beyond that particular circumstance, situation or occasion
  • by asking for HIS ADDRESS!!!

>> John 1:39
  • and JESUS / YESHUA speedily RESPONDED to them
  • DID NOT DISREGARD them,
  • ATTENDED TO them OUTRIGHT
  • In fact, spent THE REST OF THE DAY --- until 4:00pm that day, and

  • JESUS / YESHUA got Andrew inspired by HIS ENCOUNTER.....
  • went first to his brother, Simon Peter.....
  • and announced to him
  • they have encountered “THE MESSIAH” or “THE CHRIST”
  • alluded to since >>Genesis 3:15, 21, >>Galatians 4:4.

It is in our ENCOUNTERS by
THE LORD JESUS / YESHUA
THE CHRIST

  • that we become
  • one after another HIS DISCIPLES.....
  • drawing us away
  • from those mentors & pursuits
  • we have had ....
  • prior to
  • our ENCOUNTERS by HIM!

It is 
usually through AHEAD-OF-US
ENCOUNTERED by JESUS
DISCIPLES
  
  • that JESUS / YESHUA ENCOUNTERS US ---
  • TO GET us STARTED WITH HIS DISCIPLESHIP METHODOLOGY.

THE TRUTH further to
THIS PARTICULAR
METHODOLOGY is that

  • THIS METHODOLOGY when observed
  • will get us TRANSFORMED immediately
  • getting us INTERESTED initially
  • TO TELL THE WORLD about US
  • of OUR LIFE's CIRCUMSTANCES ---

That resulted to our HAVING PERSONALLY ENCOUNTERED 
JESUS / YESHUA HIMSELF ---

when Pentecostal Pastor Greg Ferraren
 & Yogi Ted del Rosario
on Official Company time
started my later ENCOUNTERS with JESUS
in our EEI-Cebu Office]

  • of WHO HE IS by some particulars that immediately impacted on us ---

that we see --- will also impact on our next of kins

  • or them who are similarly situated as we are in our living & interests

at the time of
OUR ENCOUNTERS 
by JESUS / YESHUA
HIMSELF! 


WHEN JESUS / YESHUA MET:

1. Peter & Andrew --- JESUS / YESHUA KNEW them at that instant
  • and what they will be TRANSFORMED TO by HIM in due time. (>>Mark 1:16-17)
2. Nathanael --- JESUS / YESHUA KNEW him as man of no deceit (>>John 1:47)
  • TO BE in due time TRANSFORMED TO SPIRITUALITY (>>John 1:48-51).
3. EACH OF US of THE REST from ALL THE GENERATIONS --- JESUS / YESHUA HAS
  • already KNOWN us ALL
  • individually prior (>>Psalms 139:1-4)
  • but NOT ALL OF US despite HE DIED FOR ALL of US
  • >>Hebrews 10:10, >>Matthew 26:28
  • despite HIS GRAND AMNESTY GRANT
  • can make it to HIS PLANNED DESTINY for us all in ETERNITY
  • because some want to get redeemed from their sins by their own capabilities (>>Psalm 139:5-6)
  • and not by simply obeying >>2nd Thessalonians 1:8-10
  • detailed in

WE SHOULD NOT TO THE SLIGHTEST DEGREE
PLAY GAME WITH JESUS / YESHUA!!! 

  • JESUS / YESHUA KNEW us individually SINCE TIME!
  • JESUS / YESHUA IS CALLING US to HIM from these pre-occupations of ours!!!
  • WE SHOULD RESPOND to HIS CALL ---
  • to be part of HIS ekklesia, HIS CHURCH
  • NO MATTER WHERE WE ARE SITUATED, NO MATTER WHAT OUR SCORE IS ---

IN our RELIGIOUS beliefs, POLITICAL affiliations,
EMPLOYER-EMPLOYEE / SUPPLIER-CUSTOMER relations

JESUS / YESHUA WILL TRANSFORM US!!!! 

  • for OUR ETERNAL DESTINY ----
  • ---- The NEW Heaven & The NEW Earth ----
THE NEW JERUSALEM !!!!!!

THE UNIVERSAL PRIESTHOOD
of EVERY BELIEVER

in THE LORDSHIP

T#098 TIME


As CONFIRMED
from OUR LIVING and as
DOCUMENTED in

>>Ecclesiastes Chapter 3:1-9

TIME marches on with its
repeated cycles!!!

What should this really mean
for us?

LESSONS we have to learn
from & about TIME!


GOD is ACTUALLY
individually LEADING
US TO REFLECT on TIME

and from such reflections

 GUIDE us HOW  TO LIVE
EXPERIENCED because:

  • TIME IS LIMITED by GOD.
  • TIME IS UNDER GOD’s CONTROL

So we should already
stop managing TIME!!!

  • It should be our activities

that we should manage
vis-a-vis TIME.

  • TIME IS WASTED IN SINNING or MISSING our PLANS & TARGETS
  • ALTHOUGH MAY BE REDEEMED
  • by LIVING THE LORDSHIP & THE CHRISTHOOD of JESUS 
  • individually ... in THEOCRACY
  • start to live in the privacy of your life that personal relationship HE wants with you as:

    1. OWNER-BOSS-COMMANDER of pre-eminence because HE has amnestied you!

    2. SAVIOR because HE died for all your sinnings!


    3. KING because HE wants you to be HIS subject for the rest of your life!


    4. CHIEF-PRIEST because you have become HIS priest with no one and absolutely no one between your priesthood and HIS being CHIEF-PRIEST to you!


    5. JUDGE now(!) & every second of your living now(!)

    because you are IN HIM &
    IN THE HOUSEHOLD
    of GOD already

    ~ to be changed by HIM now(!)
  • ... whilst living collectively in a Democracy, Authoritarianism, Communism, Capitalism, Socialism, Monarchy, etc.
  • TIME IS EXTENDED by GOD’s PATIENCE!
  • TIME IS JOURNEYED whether with or without GOD!
  • TIME WAS DESIGNED by GOD
  • to establish the beginnings
  • as well as reckoning to their ends

of all and everything
GOD created and made in TIME!

  • (>>Genesis 1:1, 14-15)
  • TIME WAS STARTED by GOD
  • and GOD has since then is continuing to regulate TIME;

and HE WILL COME TO END IT @
THE GENERAL RESURRECTION.

  • (>>1st Corinthians 15:24-26)
  • TIME was already begun by GOD long long before
  • all of us were born
  • and all of us were and are
  • continuously subjected to TIME
  • although unrealized by many of us!
  • TIME is limited as with beginning and ending
  • BUT DISTINCTIVELY UNIQUE
  • for & to every one’s INDIVIDUAL LIFE.
  • THE END of TIME comes on THAT DAY
  • described in >>2nd Peter 3:10

GOD is eternal
while man is temporal!
(>>Psalm 90)

  • >>Verses 1-6 ~ GOD is ETERNAL
  • >>Verses 7-11 ~ MAN is TEMPORAL while in the realm of TIME

but can be ETERNALY with HIM

  • as GOD purposely-made HIM!
  • >>Verses 12-17
  • in WISDOM for HIM to contrive with,
  • with STRENGTH to support HIM and 
  • BEAUTY to adorn HIM.

~ We ought to avail of GOD’s AMNESTY

  • because we all have wrongly spent TIME.

TIME is GOVERNED by GOD
to guide BOTH individual man
and even nations and rulers

 in their temporal involvements
and concerns!

  • >>Daniel 2:20-21 ~ GOD is in effective control of THE LIFETIME of NATIONS & THE TENURE of RULERS
  • >>Daniel 7:25 ~ GOD is in effective control; even the wicked rulers’ TIME in governing or tenures are from HIM.

TIME is GOVERNED
by GOD because of

HIS INTENT to UNFOLD HIS WILL
TO SAVE MAN INDIVIDUALLY

  • --- IF HE WANTS TO BE PERSONALLY SAVED
  • given the various frustrations man went through!
  • >>Acts 17:24-27 ~ GOD uses personal frustrations
  • so through it we SEEK GOD
  • and can find HIM because of HIS assurance.
  • >>Hebrews 1:1-2
  • ~ GOD has always been revealing
  • HIMSELF in TIME
  • TO ALL PEOPLE OF EVERY AGE.
  • ~ GOD guided HISTORY to the proper TIME
  • when HE sent out THE CHRIST to live with man.
  • >>Galatians 4:4

TIME is LIMITED by GOD as
with beginning and end ….

  • DISTINCTLY UNIQUE FOR …. and TO EVERY ONE’s
  • …. INDIVIDUAL LIFE!
  • >>Mark 1:14-15, >>9:1, >>14:25
  • ~ The Promises of THE CHRIST
  • showing HIS power over TIME
  • and THE EVENTS of HISTORY
  • >>Acts 1:6-7
  • ~ THE CHRIST promising GOD would establish
  • as the appropriate TIME
  • to start availing of GOD’s AMNESTY
  • because we all have wrongly spent TIME!

TIME is LOST when spent
in SINNING!

  • >>1st Peter 4:1-3
  • ~ THE CHRIST teaching us
  • not to waste our TIME anymore in sinning!

TIME however WASTED ….

  • Can be retrieved by us
  • when we lose no further TIME
  • OBEYING THE CHRIST’s TEACHINGS
  • starting with HIS ELEMENTARY TEACHINGS!

  • ~ THE CHRIST teaches us how to use our time hereafter WISELY!

TIME however LIMITED ….

  • Is extended by GOD HIMSELF
  • for the sole intent of GETTING MAN TO REPENT
  • kun MAGBINAG-O NA!!!!
  • Kay COMES after this extension ….
  • HIS ETERNAL JUDGMENT!
  • >>2nd Peter 3:8-11
  • ~ GOD’s patience shall be followed
  • by HIS JUDGMENT!

TIME till NOW(!)
has been extended

 by GOD’s PATIENCE

  • so that ALL OF US MAY REPENT
  • but after this extension of TIME
  • THIS JUDGMENT follows:
  • >>2nd Corinthians 5:10
  • ~ We are to be judged according to what we have done
  • using this body of ours!

TIME has been extended
by GOD’s patience

  • to give us TIME to repent kun pagbinag-o na(!)
  • because REPENTANCE kun PAGBINAG-O
  • is to prepare us for That Day of Judgment for each one of us!
  • >>Acts 17:30-31
  • ~ And we only have these uncertain number of days left
  • to get ourselves already prepared
  • before THAT CERTAIN SPECIFIC DAY ... comes!

TIME is needed

  • and so while we have IT by GOD’s HAVING EXTENDED IT
  • we obey this particular OBEY-or-DIE
  • and repeated in the same breath COMMAND
  • by JESUS HIMSELF ---- our CHIEF-PRIEST & JUDGE!
  • >>Luke 13:3, >>5
  • ~ or suffer ETERNALLY the consequence herein!

TIME has been for us EXTENDED

  • because very many of us still has to know ---
  • REPENTANCE or PAGBINAG-O is necessary
  • for THE FORGIVENESS of OUR INDIVIDUAL SINNINGS
  • and we have to be before our JUDGE

then AMNESTIED earlier
by HIM already

  • --- as some of us have already entered HIS KINGDOM
  • in the way the 3,000 entered as the first entrants
  • to THE KINGDOM on that particular Day of Pentecost, in A.D. 33!
  • >>Luke 24:47
  • ~ JESUS HIMSELF, our CHIEF-PRIEST said THESE WORDS!

TIME is most necessary

  • and this extension has to be used in repenting
  • as GOD purposed for IT
  • because REPENTANCE kun PAGBINAG-O
  • leads to ACKNOWLEDGING THE TRUTH!
  • >>2nd Timothy 2:25
  • ~ We have to be most careful with them who oppose
  • The Truth of the necessity of their repentance
  • for the forgiveness of their sinnings
  • or we cannot be effective for this purpose of HIS!

TIME is A JOURNEY

  • either with or without GOD in us!
  • IF we live without GOD in us
  • that can only mean we have not OBEYED
  • And they who oppose THIS MESSAGE will have to reckon with THE TRUTH in 
  • >>2nd Thessalonians 1:6-9
  • ~ the start of the without-end-regret throughout eternity!

TIME OUGHT TO BE A JOURNEY

  • with GOD in us
  • because ONLY IF WE JOURNEY THROUGH TIME
  • with HIM can we compliantly obey
  • >>1st Peter 1:13-17;
  • ~ THE JOURNEY in fully assured continuing hope and certainty even unto
  • THE REVELATION of THE LORD JESUS THE CHRIST
  • at HIS Coming!

SOJOURNING is getting to a
series of places briefly
one after another

  • for specific purposes GOD assigns to us personally
  • in this realm of TIME ---
  • so that we can live and at any time die
  • confident of the truths for us in
  • >>2nd Timothy 4:6-8
  • ~ Confidence in our living
  • while awaiting either our own individual death
  • putting the end of our TIME we started at our birth here on earth
  • or THE CHRIST’s COMING for all men's ETERNAL JUDGMENT
  • which puts the end of time HE started
  • --- to give way to eternity, whichever for us --- INDIVIDUALLY comes first!

TIME really keeps on marching on ….

  • At such observed repeated cycles
  • we seem uninterruptedly experiencing
  • that bring about
  • frustrations meant for our finally encountering
  • THE LORD JESUS @ our rapture.
  • >>Revelation 3:10, >>Revelation 12:5

    TIME has really to be determinably GODly-spent by US because IT is:
  • LIMITED by GOD
  • GOVERNED by GOD
  • WASTED in OUR SINNINGS
  • EXTENDED by GOD’s PATIENCE only
  • but up to the end of THIS CHURCH AGE
  • TO BE most carefully JOURNEYED beyond further emphasis, WITH GOD
  • because to immediately follow on earth
  • after THAT RAPTURE
  • is
  • THE GREAT TRIBULATION....
